YJLW02 / YJLW03
Copper Core XLPE Insulated Corrugated Aluminium Sheath Power Cable

A copper-core power cable with XLPE insulation and a corrugated aluminium sheath. Designed around project requirements for the electrical insulation system, metallic sheath and outer protection.
Copper conductor
Stranded copper construction.
XLPE insulation
Insulation with semiconductive screens.
Corrugated aluminium sheath
A formed metallic layer beneath the outer sheath.
Inside the Corrugated Sheath Construction
Copper carries the current. XLPE provides insulation, with semiconductive screens around it. The corrugated aluminium layer sits beneath the polymer outer sheath. Specify the outer-sheath material and water-blocking arrangement for the project.

Understanding the Corrugated Aluminium Sheath
Why corrugate the metal?
The corrugated profile helps the metal sheath accommodate cable bending. The finished cable still has a specified minimum bend radius that must be respected during installation.
What about moisture?
Metallic sheaths can form a radial moisture barrier when the construction is continuous and sealed. Water-blocking layers address moisture travel along the cable; the required protection must be specified as a complete system.
Why does bonding matter?
A metallic sheath is part of the electrical installation. Its bonding arrangement must be coordinated with fault protection, accessories and operating conditions.
Select the complete cable construction for the route, rather than relying on a single material or layer.
Technical Data
Single-core configurations from 1×25 to 1×800 mm². Cable diameters and weights are approximate.
Specify the Cable Around the Project
Voltage & accessories
Match the rated voltage and insulation dimensions to the network, joints and terminations.
Sheath & environment
Specify the PE or PVC sheath against the actual route and environmental requirements.
Installation & delivery
Confirm bending limits, pulling conditions, drum lengths and screen bonding with the installation design.
Professional Cable Manufacturing
Coordinated production processes support consistent conductor formation, cable assembly and finishing. Material selection and production planning follow the required cable construction and order specification.

Quality Control
Production and laboratory inspection capabilities support material evaluation and finished-cable quality control. The applicable test plan defines the checks and records for each product specification.

Drum Packing & Project Delivery

Plan the Length. Simplify the Delivery.
Drum lengths and packing requirements can be discussed around the cable schedule, handling equipment and delivery plan.
Include the required size, total length, preferred drum length and destination in your inquiry.
Specify Your YJLW02 / YJLW03 Cable
Send the system voltage, conductor size, route length, installation conditions and destination specification. Include the required sheath arrangement, accessories and drum lengths so the cable proposal can be matched to your project.
Technical Data
Single-core configurations from 1×25 to 1×800 mm². Cable diameters and weights are approximate.
