Product Overview
The modular low-voltage lithium battery outdoor cabinet platform combining 48V or 51.2V rack battery packs with weather-resistant enclosures. Nine cabinet configurations cover reference energies from 15 to 96kWh for outdoor solar storage, backup power and distributed energy projects.

Engineering Features
-
Outdoor Environmental Protection
The enclosure is designed for rain, dust, sunlight and corrosion exposure, with cabinet protection stated up to IP54.
-
Multiple Electrical Protections
The platform description includes overcurrent, overvoltage, short-circuit and lightning protection functions.
-
Modular Capacity Architecture
Independent battery units can be combined into nine reference cabinet platforms for installation, maintenance and later upgrade planning.
-
48V and 51.2V Pack Options
Six rack-battery configurations cover 4.8–16.1kWh per pack at a standard and maximum continuous rate of 0.5C.
-
Compact Deployment
Three cabinet height classes and two footprint families support different energy and site-space requirements.

Outdoor Enclosure and Protection Basics
IP54 applies to the cabinet boundary
The internal packs are listed as IP20. Open doors, damaged seals or unsealed cable entries can expose those components to the outdoor environment and reduce system protection.
Lightning protection needs an external discharge path
A surge protective device must be coordinated with site earthing, bonding, cable routing and upstream protection. The cabinet alone cannot safely absorb unlimited lightning energy.
Solar exposure changes thermal conditions
Outdoor air temperature is not the only heat source. Direct sun and internal losses can raise enclosure temperature, so orientation, shading and ventilation must be considered.
Reference energy is a configuration value
Confirm installed pack count, nominal and usable energy, DOD limits and inverter compatibility for the actual project-not only the cabinet model name.
Outdoor Battery Cabinet Assembly and Delivery Checks
Cabinet configuration: Reconcile battery quantity, voltage platform, cabinet options and external interfaces with the approved order.
Outdoor build details: Inspect door alignment, seals, cable entries, ventilation or cooling paths and handling condition before shipment.
Pre-installation release: Record the required electrical, BMS and protection checks so the receiving team has a clear installation baseline.
Selection Guidance
Select 15–96kWh from load profile and runtime, then verify usable energy, reserve and future expansion.
Confirm the inverter voltage window, charge setpoint, communication protocol and approved pack type.
Verify foundation, clearance, solar exposure, drainage, corrosion category and cable-entry direction.
Review branch fusing, isolation, surge protection, grounding and upstream fault levels as one system.
Packing and Transport
Ship each battery in approved protective packaging with terminals insulated against short circuit. Confirm required lithium-battery test summaries, labels, documents, state-of-charge limits and carrier restrictions for the selected transport route. Keep packages upright and dry, protect them from impact, and quarantine any unit showing deformation, leakage, unusual odor or abnormal heat.
FAQ
Does an IP54 cabinet make each internal battery pack IP54?
No. The listed packs are IP20. Outdoor protection depends on the complete closed cabinet, intact seals and properly sealed cable entries.
Is reference cabinet energy the same as usable energy?
Not necessarily. Usable energy depends on the installed pack configuration, allowed DOD, operating limits, temperature and system losses.
Can the cabinet be placed directly on soil?
Use an engineered level foundation with drainage, anchoring and cable access appropriate to the cabinet weight and local site conditions.
What information is needed for selection?
Provide load power and duration, inverter model, voltage platform, target energy, environment, foundation, expansion plan and local protection requirements.
