Electrical resistance & reference current
Maximum conductor resistance is specified at 20°C. Current ratings are stated at 30°C in free air. The source calculation note assumes three loaded conductors; its applicability to the two-core rows requires confirmation. These values are not unconditional installation ratings.

Where this cable fits
Domestic & kitchen equipment
Indoor appliance connections in homes and kitchens, with moderate mechanical stress and appropriate installation conditions.
Office equipment
Flexible power connections for office appliances and equipment where the cable construction and temperature limits suit the use.
Appliances in wet conditions
The reference lists washing machines, hair dryers and refrigerators. Suitability depends on the complete appliance and its approved installation; this is not a submersion rating.
Domestic heating appliances
The reference permits heating-appliance connections provided the cable does not contact heat or radiation sources. Keep routing clear of those sources.
Select for the installation
- Plan installation at 5°C or above and operation within the 60°C maximum stated in the reference. Installation temperature and operating temperature are separate limits.
- Use a bend radius of at least 6 × the maximum external diameter. The table gives approximate production diameters, not maximum diameters; confirm the maximum for the ordered cable.
- The stated tensile-stress limit is 15 N/mm². Confirm the allowable pulling force and installation method for the selected cable; do not treat this value as a force in newtons.
- The 150°C short-circuit temperature is not a continuous operating rating. Fault duration and protective-device coordination require an installation-specific check.
- Select conductor size for the actual load, cable length, installation, ambient temperature and voltage drop. Use the current values below only with their stated reference conditions.
- Confirm core identification and protective-earth requirements. The source lists core counts with × notation and does not specify a G or X option for each row.
- Use correctly rated terminals, plugs and strain relief. Do not position this indoor PVC cable as a general-purpose outdoor, heavy-duty rubber or immersion cable.

Frequently asked questions
Is 5°C the minimum operating temperature?
No. The reference specifies 5°C as the minimum installation temperature and 60°C as the maximum operating temperature. It does not provide a minimum operating temperature.
How is the bending radius determined?
Use 6 times the maximum external diameter. The approximate production diameter in the schedule is not a guaranteed maximum; obtain the applicable maximum diameter before finalising the bend.
Can the listed current rating be used for any installation?
No. The values are stated for 30°C in free air, and the source note assumes three loaded conductors. That note also appears with two-core entries, so the applicable basis must be clarified before using those entries for design.
Does the reference certificate cover SINELINK cable?
The supplied reference identifies another manufacturer. Certification and declaration requirements for the ordered SINELINK product must be confirmed separately.
Can H05VV-F be used for wet-location appliances?
The reference includes domestic appliances used in wet conditions, subject to the appliance and installation requirements. This does not establish a waterproof, submerged or general outdoor cable rating.
