Understanding Charging Power
The charger rating represents the total available output, not an independent full-power rating for each connector. Charging performance depends on vehicle voltage, vehicle charging limits, connector current limits and the power allocated to each output.
Charging power depends on both voltage and current. Vehicles operating at lower battery voltages may reach the output current limit before reaching the charger's rated power.
Available power is shared across the active outputs. Actual power at each vehicle varies with its charging demand and the allocation strategy.
Battery state of charge and vehicle thermal management influence charging speed. Peak charger power does not imply the same power throughout a complete session.
