IP67 Waterproof MC4 Connector delivers full submersion-grade sealing for photovoltaic DC connections exposed to the harshest weather conditions. While standard MC4 connectors provide IP65 protection-adequate for normal rain and dust-IP67 takes the seal to a different level: the connector can withstand temporary immersion in water up to 1 meter deep for 30 minutes without moisture reaching the contact area. The connector uses multi-point O-ring seals and precision-molded housing to maintain its protection rating across years of thermal cycling and UV exposure.
